Introduction to Lightweight Silicon Brick Products

Silicon insulated refractory bricks are insulation silicon refractory products with a SiO2 content of over 90% and a bulk density of less than 1.2g/cm ³. The mineral composition of silicon insulated refractory bricks is: 78% to 86% phosphorite, 13% to 15% quartzite, and 4% to 7% quartz. Silicon insulated refractory bricks are generally made of crystalline quartzite or silica sand as raw materials, and flammable substances such as coke, smokeless coal, sawdust, carbonized rice husks, or porous structures formed by gas foaming are added to the ingredients. The fire resistance and load softening temperature of ordinary silica bricks with the same composition are not significantly different. However, due to the large number of pores, the compressive strength, slag resistance, corrosion resistance, etc. are not as good as ordinary silica bricks, while the thermal shock resistance has been improved.

Generally, lightweight silica bricks are divided into first grade and second grade. First grade lightweight silica bricks can be used for the top of steel rolling heating furnaces and silicate industrial kilns, and can directly come into contact with flames; Secondary lightweight silica bricks are used as insulation layers for general industrial kilns.

Suitable for: coke ovens, hot blast stoves, glass melting furnaces, carbon kilns, etc.

It has excellent fire resistance, with a load softening temperature close to that of dense silica bricks reaching 1620 ℃, minimal residual expansion, and better thermal stability than dense silica bricks. Therefore, lightweight silica bricks can be used for a long time under high temperature conditions (1500-1550 ℃) without contact with slag, and are suitable for lining hot blast stoves in large blast furnaces, gas insulation layers in glass kilns, etc.

The T3 size of the high alumina refractory brick standard brick is 230 * 114 * 65mm.

Customized processing of irregular high alumina refractory bricks can be done according to the provided drawings.
